The engine will bear 8-speed transmission automatic gears and 6Cylinders except Audi A8 which will expected to come in 8 Cylinders.
- Audi A8 3.0 TFSI quattro petrol is to be loaded with 6 cylinder petrol engine. The engine is capable enough to produce maximum of 250 PS of maximum power at 4000-4500 rpm and belt out 420 Nm of peak torque between 2500-4850 Rpm.
- Audi A8 4.2 TFSI variant gives 372 PS maximum power at 6800 rpm and churns out 445 Nm of peak torque at 3500 rpm.encompass of 8 cylinders.

RIDE , HANDLING AND SAFETY :-
By giving A8 multiple suspension setting, Audi has attempted to broaden the A8's dynamic repertoire. These settings dramatically changes the nature of the car. Comfort mode, car can absorb most of the bumps with ease and this mode is best in city mode. Go to the other extreme, sport, the Audi A8 distinctly tauter and the ride is too stiff for the most of the roads. We have found the Normal Mode to be the best compromise for the high speed transit as it offers some exceptionally well plaint ride.
However, despite all these techno wizard, a raised suspension and higher profile tyres, the A8 isn't still a class leading.Also, the steering though precise lacks feel and doesn’t engage the driver in a particularly entertaining way. In Sport mode, the steering does weight up and get heavier but the feel or contact with the road doesn’t really improve. The light and quick steering makes the A8 effortless to drive in town but you need to keep an eye out for its marine dimensions, which can be quite a handful in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
