Volkswagen is going to plan to give its Polo hatchback a recreate look.On the exterior, the refreshed Polo is expected to get black inserts on its headlamps to give the car a grandstand look. It will also seems to get a new alloy wheel design. The upgraded interior will encompass a new music system head-unit with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, while higher-spec variants could also get steering-mounted audio controls - a feature which is slowly becoming and heading towards a standard option in models of this segment.
According to the sources, Volkswagen is planning to launch an automatic petrol variant of the Polo, however details about which automatic box will be used are unknown.
Expect the updated Polo
The new Polo will come with some Major as well as with some Minor changes.
The minor changes are like:
- New RCD 310 Audio system ( You can play music from your iPod or MP3 player, via your car's sound system, by plugging into the Multi-Device Interface ) with USB and AUX input support.
- Audio control mounted on steering wheel.
- Genuine Leather wrapping on steering wheel with chrome insert.
- Reverse parking sensors for all upcoming variants.
The software development team of VW has undergone some good work by upgrading the software that runs in the New Polo. From now onward, there is auto-system which enables polo to lock its door after getting reach to 10km/h and unlock them when the key will be removed from ignition keyhole. It also locks the fuel tank shroud at speeds over 5 kmph. The software informs about its actions with an audible beep sound. Though there’s nothing upsetting for the existing owners as VW will perform a Free-of-Cost software upgrade for all the Polo owners.

- New Polo is also coming up with 1.41Litre TSI producing 140 PS with ACT technology.
